  • SSD: The new Swissbit 3D NAND based products N-10m2 and small form factor N-20m2 PCIe M.2 and the X-75 SATA SSD family are dedicated to the demanding requirements of the NetCom market and operate between -40°C and +85°C. pSLC variants and configurations with high overprovision provide the requested endurance for extended service intervals.

  • USB modules: The embedded USB module families U-4x and U-5x offer the right solutions for system still using USB for the boot device.

  • CompactFlash Cards: Longevity SLC and MLC CFC products are available with controlled BOM to eliminate requalification effort and reduce the total cost of ownership.

Base station

The customer requirement for base station storage product included: Small density, high endurance, USB 3 interface, stable performance both for sequential and random operation.
The Swissbit solution "U-58" embedded USB module uses 3D NAND pSLC to provide sufficient endurance. Swissbit even modified the device configuration to offer high overprovisioning in order to further increase the TBW values to SLC levels while keeping the cost low. A page based flash management and USB 3.1 interface provided enough write performance. The product over fulfilled all customer requirements.
