Launch at the RSAC 2025: The new iShield Key 2 will make its debut in San Francisco

In recent months, Swissbit has expanded its hardware security key portfolio with two industry-first innovations that set new benchmarks. The iShield Key MIFARE is the first device to combine a FIDO security key with MIFARE DESFire EV3 technology, enabling secure digital authentication alongside physical access control, time tracking, and payment functions in a single solution. Complementing this is the iShield Key FIPS series, the first FIDO security key with FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certification, developed to meet the highest security standards required by U.S. federal agencies and critical infrastructure operators.

All Swissbit hardware security keys are made in Europe, manufactured in Swissbit’s state-of-the-art semiconductor facility in Berlin, Germany, ensuring industrial-grade quality and reliability.

RSA® ID Plus live demo

As part of its strategic partnership with RSA, the security-first identity leader, Swissbit will demonstrate the integration of iShield Key with the RSA ID Plus access management platform. Visitors to the Swissbit booth can experience firsthand how this FIDO2-compliant, tamper-resistant authentication device enhances passwordless authentication and strengthens phishing resistance. Together with the FIDO2-certified RSA Authenticator App, the iShield Key and RSA ID Plus deliver a comprehensive passwordless solution for all users and use cases while helping organizations address broader Zero Trust mandates. In addition, RSA and Swissbit will host joint sessions at the RSA booth (N-6253) to detail best practices for how organizations can implement phishing-resistant passwordless authentication.
