With the Security Upgrade Kit, Swissbit offers a user-friendly and secure solution that protects embedded systems and complies with relevant cybersecurity regulations. The kit includes an industrial-grade microSD card as well as appropriate documentation, software, and tools. It offers hardware-based access control, real-time data encryption with AES 256, and customizable protection profiles. Areas of application include the copy protection of sensitive data and the protection of system integrity through Secure Boot.

REINER SCT is entering into a strategic partnership with Swissbit. As part of the cooperation, REINER SCT will distribute the security keys of the Swissbit iShield Key family in the future. In addition, the digital security expert is adding the REINER SCT FIDO Stick Pro, developed and produced by Swissbit, the first FIDO2 security key of its own, to its portfolio. The cooperation aims to promote the spread of FIDO technology as a phishing-resistant authentication method and to make it accessible to an even broader customer base.

RSA and Swissbit announced that RSA will start introducing its next-generation hardware authenticators RSA iShield Key 2 series powered by Swissbit alongside RSA® ID Plus for Government. Swissbit introduces its first PCIe Gen5 SSD with the launch of the D2200 series. Designed for enterprise servers and edge data centers, this series offers outstanding performance with up to 14 GB/s for sequential read and 10 GB/s for sequential write. The new SSD also excels in energy efficiency, delivering a sequential read performance of up to 970 MB/s per watt. The D2200 will be available in U.2 and E1.S form factors with storage capacities of 8 TB and 16 TB in late August.

Swissbit is expanding its portfolio of hardware-based security keys with the new iShield Key Pro featuring a USB-C interface. The iShield Key Pro can also be used for physical access control applications, making it one of the most flexible security keys.
