Taxation: RetailForce and Swissbit Expand Their Partnership

Bronschhofen, Switzerland; Steyr, Austria. January 13, 2026 – Swissbit and RetailForce are further expanding their successful partnership and extending their joint presence to additional European countries: Following joint projects in Germany and Austria, they are now also targeting Romania and Slovakia. The goal of the expanded partnership is to provide companies in retail, hospitality, and e-charging with a reliable and future-proof fiscalization infrastructure.

RetailForce is one of the leading middleware providers in the European fiscal sector and supports software manufacturers with a unified interface for 16 countries. In addition, RetailForce has already expanded into other nations outside Europe. This “one-interface” architecture enables international POS providers to efficiently cover multiple markets via a central interface.

Swissbit ideally complements this middleware with its secure cloud and hardware fiscal solutions—ranging from cloud-based TSEs and stationary hardware TSEs to WORM and signature solutions for countries such as Germany, Romania, and Slovakia. On this basis, cross-border rollouts can be implemented particularly quickly, stably, and in compliance with regulations.
