Westford, Massachusetts, USA, June 9, 2026 – Swissbit, a leading manufacturer of industrial-grade storage and security solutions, will showcase its latest storage technologies for automation, industrial edge and AI-driven applications at Automate 2026, taking place June 22–25 at McCormick Place in Chicago. Visitors can find Swissbit at booth #1074 North.
As artificial intelligence moves from centralized data centers to factory floors, production lines and distributed edge environments, storage is becoming a critical foundation for reliable automation infrastructure. At Automate, Swissbit will demonstrate how industrial-grade storage supports consistent system performance, data integrity and long-term availability in demanding operating conditions, including temperature extremes, vibration, extended lifecycles and unexpected power interruptions.
During its 25th anniversary year, Swissbit is also previewing two new core PCIe SSD series designed to meet the evolving requirements of industrial systems, edge computing and data-intensive workloads.
The new N7000 Series is a 4-channel PCIe SSD platform engineered to balance reliability, cost efficiency and performance. Designed primarily for next-generation boot drives and lightweight workloads, the N7000 integrates Power Loss Notification to help protect data integrity during unexpected power interruptions. The series will be available in M.2 2280 and M.2 2242 form factors, with capacities ranging from 80GB to 4TB.
For higher-performance applications, Swissbit is introducing the A2000 Series, an 8-channel PCIe Gen4/NVMe platform designed for low-latency, data-intensive use cases. Target applications include enterprise storage and server environments, advanced industrial systems, networking and communications infrastructure, and edge AI deployments. The A2000 Series will be available in M.2, E1.S and U.2 form factors, with capacities from 480GB to 8TB.
“AI and automation are changing how industrial systems generate, process and store data,” said Grady Lambert, General Manager Swissbit NA. “At Automate 2026, we are showing how industrial-grade storage can provide the reliability, performance consistency and long-term availability these systems require—from robust boot drives to high-performance NVMe solutions for edge AI.”
A key differentiator behind Swissbit’s PCIe portfolio is the company’s in-house NAND packaging capability at its Berlin facility. By managing critical back-end assembly and test steps internally, Swissbit gains tighter control over materials and bill of materials, improves supply-chain resilience, supports faster lead times and helps ensure long-term availability through wafer banking.
More industrial storage highlights for long-term designs
Swissbit will also present further highlights across its portfolio of reliable industrial-grade memory solutions, with a strong emphasis on long-term availability for industrial and embedded designs. Alongside the PCIe preview, the company will showcase solder-down options such as e.MMC and PCIe BGA products, as well as provide updates on its next-generation SATA platform. These solutions address the needs of long-lifecycle systems that require dependable storage, controlled bill of materials and availability planning for extended deployment periods.
