One of the most exciting features of the latest SBDM version is the ability to initiate firmware updates. No more waiting for manufacturers to roll out updates – now you can easily install and test product-specific firmware adjustments yourself. This feature is particularly handy during the design-in stage, allowing you to collaborate more effectively with our FAE team and make necessary updates on the fly.

But that's not all! SBDM is the next evolution of our successful Swissbit Lifetime Monitoring Tool, with expanded features and enhanced ease of use. It encompasses all the benefits of a complete monitoring and system tool, including standard S.M.A.R.T. parameters (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology) and the utilization of individual flash blocks. With SBDM, important telemetry data, general device information such as the serial number and firmware version, and utilization statistics like NAND flash erase cycles and ECC/CRC counters are all visually represented. Moreover, SBDM records the history of these values for each memory device, offering valuable insights for analysis and troubleshooting.
