Highlights Memory
High-End PCIe SSDs for edge computing and enterprise servers
Addressing the growing storage needs in edge computing, servers, data centers, and network routers, Swissbit introduces a lineup of cutting-edge PCIe SSDs. These high-performance solutions cater to demanding workloads while prioritizing efficiency and reliability. Leading the pack is the N5200, boasting exceptional durability, scalability, and reliability. It surpasses expectations by consuming up to 30% less power than competing PCIe Gen4 SSDs, setting a new standard for performance per watt.
For edge servers and network infrastructures, the N3202 from the N3000 family emerges as a champion. Its robust design, Swissbit's proprietary powersafe PLP technology, and advanced security features ensure unwavering reliability and endurance. Utilizing eTLC flash memory and a DRAM-based controller, the N3202 delivers a remarkable 1.5 DWPD (Drive Writes Per Day) endurance rating over five years.
Embedded storage solutions: Versatility for the IoT and more
In Nuremberg, Swissbit will also unveil its embedded portfolio tailored to address challenges in automation, gateways, and eco-friendly IoT applications. Among the offerings is the N2000 series, a DRAM-less PCIe SSD with host memory buffer support, providing an efficient solution for embedded applications with lower power consumption and compact form factors.
For applications with limited storage needs in eco-friendly IoT sectors such as charging stations or smart meters, Swissbit will showcase e.MMCs and SD memory cards from the EM-30 and S-56(u) series. Ranging from 4 to 8 GB in capacity, these solutions offer high reliability, endurance, and cost-efficient performance.
Highlights Security
Featuring USB-C: New FIDO2 security key
Continuing to broaden its array of hardware security keys, Swissbit will debut the new iShield Key Pro featuring a USB-C interface for the first time at Embedded World. Similar to its USB-A counterpart, this device supports the FIDO2 standard, along with PIV (Personal Identity Verification), HOTP (Hash-Based-One-Time-Password), and TOTP (Time-Based One-Time Password). The iShield Key Pro offers versatility by also serving for physical access control, positioning it among the most adaptable security keys. Additionally, alongside USB-C compatibility, it incorporates an NFC interface.
License protection: Swissbit memory cards with CmReady label
The latest PS-66(u) DP SD and microSD cards not only provide standard durability and industrial compatibility but also come with a unique feature: they are certified for CmReady from WIBU, effectively expanding the CodeMeter technology to encompass software protection and licensing. Leveraging Swissbit memory cards as an additional license container within the CodeMeter ecosystem offers embedded and IoT device manufacturers an effective and economical solution for license protection. Swissbit, in collaboration with WIBU, will demonstrate the CmReady functionality at the Swissbit booth.
