July 2008 - Industrial UDMA CompactFlash Card to be Unveiled Soon
Bronschhofen, Switzerland, July 2008 - Swissbit Inc, the largest independent DRAM module and Flash storage manufacturer in Europe, has been working closely with Hyperstone to develop the C-300 UltraDMA (UDMA) CompactFlash Card. This UDMA CompactFlash Card will be available in densities from 256MB to 16GB and in both Commercial (0°C to +70°C) and Industrial (-40°C to +85°C) temperature grades. Using the Hyperstone F3 Controller allows Swissbit to create a CompactFlash Card that gives the user the ability to utilize the life time monitoring tools options such as Bad Block Management and Static and Dynamic Wear Leveling.

May 2008 - Swissbit Partners with CMTL for FBDIMM Verification
Bronschhofen, Switzerland, May 2008 – Swissbit Inc, the largest independent DRAM module and Flash storage manufacturer in Europe, has announced today that they have added to their FBDIMM family of modules with the introduction of their 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB DDR2 CMTL Certified Fully Buffered DIMMs (FBDIMMs). These FBDIMMs are available at 667MHz PC2-5300-555 and 800MHz PC2-6400-555 and are built using the Intel Approved Heat Spreader, the IDT Advanced Memory Buffer, and Laird Thermal Interface Material.

April 2008 - A Swissbit First - Apple Mac Pro Quad-Core FBDIMMs released.
Bronschhofen, Switzerland, April 2008 – Swissbit Inc, the largest independent DRAM module and Flash storage manufacturer in Europe, has just introduced their first 2GB and 4GB DDR2 800MHz Fully Buffered DIMMs (FBDIMMs). Following the JEDEC specifications, these FBDIMMs were developed and manufactured for use in the Apple Mac Pro Quad-Core based platforms. Each FBDIMM is built using Apple Verified IDT Advanced Memory Buffers and large mass heat spreaders.
